Last night I had a dream and I am sure that it had to do with Encounter service last night, which I didn't get to be involved in because my kids had to be disciplined. I was delighted to get to spend some time "soaking" and then my kids couldn't leave me alone so I missed out, but last night I had a dream that I was standing on a hill outside of abilene and I was watching an Airplane with BC. The airplane was very large and had tanks on each side of it like a space shuttle taking off. The airplane was just floating and then it just dove right into the center of ABilene and exploded. Fire began to consume everything and BC and I began to move into action. We started to locate burn victims that we could pray for. As we began to pray and bring new skin for people from heaven to earch one lady asked me if anyone stronger than me was coming. I remember thinking that she must mean someone like my pastor, I told her that the holy spirit was coming, and it was like time stood still. In a hectic hospital scene everyone stopped and the ones that were screaming for help stood straight up in there beds and said that that is what they wanted. People started to maul me, I lost sight of Bc and remember crying out that I didn't have enough Power. I broke away from the crowd and ran. I began to cry out to God that I didn't have enough power, I didn't spend enough time in his presence to have it. Then people began to get mad at me for not having the Power of the holy spirit to set them free. Then the crowd began to shift and I could here cries of "it's over here". I forced my way through and BC was touching people and they were instantly being healed and given new skin.
Fire, Power, the hurting.
I have had some resentment of the ones that have gotten to go to California and other conferences. I feel left out. Does this dream confirm what I feel? I here there testimonies about their experiences there and am truely happy for them, but It doesn't do anything for me? Does it? It hasn't. because of Judgement maybe? I don't know for sure. I have seen a change in my wife, and hunger that she has never had before, others have been changed, but can change come from indirect contact with the source? perhaps? Since the BFW I "feel" like I am just existing spiritually, having a hard time leading my family and myself into prayer, and worship. Is the enemy trying to stiffle revival in me before it starts? I am not asking these questions to you, the reader, but these are the questions that pop up in my mind. The dream was strange, and I think I know what it means.
Happy Memorial day. Thanks to all who have served and are serving.

update
Grandpa came through the brain surgery. The doc found an artery that was damaged and was able to fix it. Recovery is 80% probable. Thanks to all who prayed, I know they were effective. None of you have ever met him, but he is a fabulous man. Thanks for standing for a stranger.
please pray
My grandpa, who is 83, and in tip top shape for his age, and was just healed of cancer last year, had a freak accident yesterday. While doing some yard work he was pulling some tumbleweeds out of his hedges and was poked in the eye, and when he reacted to the poke he hit his head on the brick of his house and was knocked out... His neighbor found him and he came to and was fine, the next day he noticed that his head didn't feel right when he touched the bump so he went to the hospital and they did a CAT scan and found bleeding on the brain. The flew him to Amarillo to a neurosurgion this morning. This is unacceptable, there have bee too many weird attacks happening.

No Way!
I lost my IPOD back in March when I went snowboarding, I knew that I left it at my grandmas house when we stopped for an overnight visit. I had my dad look in the room I stayed in when he was there a couple of weeks later, then he was there last week and him and my mom looked. My grandma was prepared to buy me a knew one, but didn't think I lost it there. I have looked in my luggage at least 10 times and have not found it. ....until tonight. For some weird reason I thought I should check one more time, after debating with myself for several minutes I worked up the desire to go up to the attic and look. I opened the end pouch and BAM! there it was. I shook my head and wiped my eyes. THERE IS NO WAY THAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN THERE! I had looked multiple times and shook the bag vigorously. The weird thing is that my grandma insisted that it was in my luggage. Did a supernatural phenom just take place. Did she pray it into my bag? I have no doubt that I left it at her house. I vividly remember putting it in my pillow case while I slept and I know that I never got it. I have been lost without my IPOD. Soaking, Podcasts, lunch breaks with it, on the road with it.... I almost bought another one a couple of weeks ago while I was at Sams club and put it back. This is one of the strangest things that I have ever experienced. I think that I believe that it was supernaturally put in my bag.

Gas prices create funny reporting
I get a kick out of the evening news each night I watch and they their top story is gas prices. It's like they are reporting something that nobody knows about, and they are the first to report it. KTAB did a live report from a gas station last night and interviewed some people to see what they thought of the "high gas prices". Of course people are going to say that they hate it and they can't afford it and so on. This reporting cracks me up. I thought the "news" was supposed to be stuff that we didn't know anything about. Why don't they do some research and report on something that no one knows about like...We pay $0.38 cents per gallon in local, state, and federal taxes. You think we pay a lot for gas! The netherlands pays the most at almost $7 per gallon and Venezuala the least at a measley $0.12 per gallon.
We, as a family in the last month have spent $650 on gas. That isn't even special trips, that is just everyday driving which comes to $21.67 per day. WOW! Talk about wrecking a budget... but I must say that I really don't care. I am going to keep driving and maybe drive even more, just because I can. God Supplies my needs and If I need $850 per month then I will get it for gas. Maybe the high prices have affected you, just trust God. He will provide. Gas prices are not "headline news" to Him.

my womens BFW weekend
This weekend was nice. It was rainy and so it was a perfect weekend to rent some movies. So that's just what I did.
It started on Thursday. I took the day off to help move stuff out to the camp and setup , I hadn't originally planned on taking the entire day off, but it worked out. I had a whole crew of guys lined out to help serve at the womens BFW, caring bags, parking cars, and handing each flame a rose and a gift bag with pearl ear rings in them, I really didn't think much of it before hand, but I heard several comments like, "no one has ever given me a rose before." I have never had a pair of pearl earings." "Why would you do this for us?" I know that just a very small sacrifice for me and my 3 guys went a long way and perhaps even changed someones life forever.
side note: My pet peeve is kingdom people making excuses or using the cop out, "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" That is pure rebellion at it's very core and if one has to use this then obviously he/she knew beforehand that permission would be denied, in which case one would knowlingly do something to, #1 buck authority, or #2 consider self before considering others. This tactic was used on me this weekend and immuturity shown brightly on the party of whom used it.
Friday, had Evan with me all day at work, he took a 2 hour nap and everything was good.
Saturday, slept in til 8 and the boys watched a movie while I cleaned up the house a bit. Then we went to town to do some errands and play on the escalators at Sears, and get a slushy and play with the trains at BAM.
I never sleep good when Rachel is gone, and this weekend was no expection. We all got home from church about 2 and turned on the Spurs game and all four of us fell asleep. I woke up just in time to see the end of the game. Then some awesome friends dropped by for a movie and icecream and that was the icing on the cake of my weekend. And that was my lunch hour for today.

5 years in business
5 and a half years ago I was invited to start a business. Wow how time flies.
Year 1: We moved to Abilene on March 21st, and started working April 1st The first 2 months were barren, not a single red cent came in. In fact the first 6 months open I made $2100 in revenue, racked up $40,000 in debt and made it. I wanted to give up every day. But every day I remained Faithful. Confessing who I was and what I am called to do. Success was mine. My first boxes came in on June 4, 2002. All four of them. It wasn't a 1,000 or 100 or 50 but 4 little boxes that are the foundation of the company and today the business that gave me those 4 boxes has about 40 with me.
Year 2: Revenue of $19,000 and new debt of $116,000. Still wanted to give up every day. Had thoughts like, If I had a college education I could make it. No, is what God would say your faithfulness is what will "make it"
Year 3: $67,000 in revenue and $20,000 new debt. This year some progess is being made. Finally can see God working.
Year 4: $134,000 in revenue $13,000 in new debt. Finally heading in the right direction. Planning on building a new facility this year.
Year 5: $124,000 and a new building with new debt of $176,000.
So I say all this to say that When you remain faithful with little, (or nothing) the principles in God's word Work and increase will come.
Year 6: Who knows? We are already double the revenue for the 1st 4 months of 2006 and I was able to write some big checks to start knocking off the debt.
We have come so far in 5 years. It seems like yesterday I was trying so hard to get my first customer. Now they are just rolling in with very little effort. I still work hard and remain faithful, but it isn't a struggle anymore. God has truly remained faithful to his word and performed it. Don't ever, ever ever give up on your dreams, Even when you make $2100 in 1 year. About 3 years ago I put a sticker on my computer monitor that says, "Thankful for every bit of increase" No matter how big or small. You build something 1 at a time whatever it is you are building and every piece has the same value.

week in review May 11th
This was a week of doing what I enjoy most... helping people. The rain made mud and people got stuck. Two different friends got stuck, I didn't do much to get them out but it was fun trying. Then helped with a carpet install on Saturday afternoon. Then went to the firing range at another friends house to practice. (boy do I need it)
Besides all the drama that went on in other parts of my family it was a good week and weekend. By Sunday night I was stir crazy. I had been at home all day with Evan and him laying beside, and on me all day was something I am not used to. So more friends came over last night for a trip to dq country. I love the Kingdom. I love living close to so many friends.
We were blessed with a free call to the pharmacy for some meds for Evan and took a midnight drive Saturday to get them. I love the Kingdom. You're never alone even when you are. I don't like missing church, but Doctors orders for Evan to be isolated. I missed church and serving, it was weird staying at home on a Sunday. I did get to see who goes to church and who doesn't on my block. Anyway... lunch time and I haven't eatin since icecream at DQ last night.

the funnel
Those who are wondering what a funnel is... I am one. Meaning my money is being used to support many different endeavers. There is more at the top than the bottom, and it will continue to grow. This was prophecied over me about a year ago and boy is it true. The top has never been more full, and more keeps going out.

week in review May 4th
The week started with dizzines, fatigue, infection, fever... It ended with dizziness, full body rash, stomach pain and itching. My head is all healed up and now just need the hair to grow back. Call it an attack or whatever, I am tired of all this stuff. It has been a miserable week. Work slowed down some. So I wasn't missed during my naps. Payton's teacher just called and he ran into a pole at school and we need to go and pick him up. Icing on the cake.... a few hours later.... I just got back from the doctor again, the rash is an allergic reaction to the meds for the infection. I have to stay out of the sun for 5 days and no hot showers. Oh, I almost forgot about our dryer being on the blink too. Good thing I am a funnel.
