Family's away this weekend, I always think that I will enjoy a little peace and quiet, but I never do. I usually get lonely and watch TV all day..... (rewind a few weeks) I have been encouraged lately with all the, finding money, checks in the mail, debts paid off praise reports. I rejoice with those that rejoice, I always think that my turn is coming. It's been years since I have received a check in the mail or a refund, seems like lately the bills from Jaxon's birth just keep piling on. I have been saving my money for some time now so I could buy a few things that I have been wanting. As you know we are going to NYC for our 10 year anniversary, God told me to spend my money for the trip. I was really torn about this. I don't ever buy stuff for myself, and I really wanted some things, but I decided to be obedient and buy this trip for my wife. I told her the other day when she was getting ready to leave that the more she spent this weekend clothes shopping the less we would have in NYC to spend. She told me, "I just have a feeling something is coming, and oh by the way I am sorry that the house is a wreck."
... (back to my weekend). Blessing #1 Friday, while the family was away, I worked late on my new Quick Books software that was given to me. I got everything put in and caught up, I am so pumped about having a good software for RECORD keeping. Then, since I have been fasting the convenience of eating fast food, I decided to venture on over to Jason's and eat a salad, and they now have Dublin Dr. Pepper on the fountain, which I love. After the salad I went and got a ticket for Vantage Point that was premiering. I was the first one to sit down and watched for the next 45 minutes as it packed out. The movie was very entertaining, I didn't like the story line, as to me it made terrorists look smart, and secret service look bad. The story was a bit out there.
Blessing #2. I went to my favorite store BAM. Books-a-million and got a book on NYC. My prayer for the night was to run into someone I could minister to. I was heading to check out and saw A. Morris. sitting in the coffee bar. It was a blessing to talk to him, I don't know that I ministered to him, but he ministered to me in more ways than I can say. We chatted for a while and I was going to check out and get a Frapacino to take home. He checked me out and gave me a free one without even asking for it. So I head home, thinking about staying up late to clean up the house.
Blessing #3. Upon arriving at my house, I open the door expecting to find a "wreck". the Kitchen was spotless, I thought that maybe she just did the kitchen. I went from room to room and couldn't believe my eyes, Every single room was spotless, even the bathrooms. I thought now that she was setting me up when she said that the house was a wreck. I send her a text asking her who cleaned the house. She responded, "nobody". I said, "somebody did it's spot less". She figured it must have been Becky, since she was using our washer. Turns out it was Becky. What an awesome blessing! I really felt God's love for me. He knew exactly what would bless me and it was done.
blessing #4. I kick off my shoes and turn on "Band of Brothers" for a long weekend of watching all 10 episodes. I was laying there when all of sudden I though about checking the mail box. There was a letter from my grandma saying that God put us on her heart and He loved us and He wanted to bless us, $500 check for our anniversary trip. WOW! check in the mail was finally mine. Before this I was thinking we can go to NYC and eat peanut butter and jelly and just walk around and see the sites. Then she wanted to go shopping with her sister and I thought we could just fast for the 4 day trip.
Blessing #5. I spent Saturday morning with Gary C. and his brother at the gun show, which was really fun.
blessing #6. Andrea C. loaned me her Tahoe, for a road trip I took Saturday afternoon to help Trublu catering. My A/C was on the blink and I had to carry 6 people up there.
Blessing #7 this is the last one. Sunday I ate lunch with the Cheek family, That was fun, and a blessing, what a neat and amazing family!

what?

I could be a little more introverted. this is crazy how right on this is. I have two dreams right now, one to own a motorcycle the other to own a small plane. I am right in there with Michael Jordan, Chuck Yeager, Charles Bronson, and Tom Cruise.

pusuit of
Pursuit of happiness, health, fitness, people, friends, God, business, wife, kids, cars, houses, education, customers, clients, kingdom, money, giving, food, survival.... life seems like a big pursuit. Does anyone pursue you, does anyone go out of their way to make you feel pursued? Does anyone spend their money on you, not wanting anything in return, Does anyone give you their time, not expecting anything in return, does anyone pursue you. Have you given your all to receive nothing in return? Something I have done my whole life is give in lack and in plenty. By Faith I am now a receiver of everything I have sowed over the last 30 years. Where your treasure is their your heart is also. What do you spend the most money on. Is it friends, Family, happiness, stuff, spouse. I have given my time and money most to the Kingdom, then to friends, family, and business. What are you pursueing, Why are you pursuing it? I am ready to be pursued by everything listed above. Is that possible?
I guess you could say that I am mentally, physically, spiritually tired of the pursuit. I am tired of being trapped by debt and debtors. If I could have one thing, it would be to be free of debt. If I could cash out right now I would. I am sure that this is a season that will change. But this is the season I am in. Comment if you want to, but I am not posting to get comments. I hope your pursuit today is prosperous.
