I am really trying hard to find a testimony to testify about. There have not been any miracles or amazing things that would make any one get excited going on in my life, but oh wait, that is not what a testimony is for or about. Sometimes I think we can get caught up in the magnitude of a testimony and not the actual need that was met no matter how big or small. I have a testimony that won't make you shout, but it was a revelation to me. I have been feeling that we haven't had a very good month at BRM. My feelings were exposed to be wrong today when we closed the month with an above average number. Feelings can't be our gauge, we have to learn how to read our feelings and determine if they are false or true.
Testimonies are good and they bring encouragement, we can learn from them, but we shouldn't get caught up in the magnitude of them, because to God all of mans needs are equal, in other words, He doesn't have to strum up more power for the big ones than He does for the little ones. Man is the one that has put a scale on miracles not God. How can we judge what is a big need and a little need or a big miracle and a little miracle. There was a man recently that had a prayer request for a friend that had brain cancer, this man also had a cut toe that was hurting him. The word came forth that his cut toe was just as important to God as his friend who had brain cancer. To man a cut toe does not hold a candle to brain cancer. Why?
I have recently "felt" like a small financial miracle for me is not worthy of testifying about because of the magnitude of the testimonies we have been hearing at church. Is this feeling true or false? I believe it is false because a $200 need to one person may have the same burden as a $2,000,000 need to someone else. The need was met no matter how big or small, and that is the issue. God meets all my needs according to HIS Riches and Glory. Lord, Let this make sense to whomever reads this.

my pet peeve
PEOPLE. What is wrong with people? I mean seriously our society is in a tale spin and I don't know how we pull out, without Jesus coming to save us all from PEOPLE! for 4 weeks now I have been searching for a new Office person. I have offered the job to 3 people all of whom have not called back, never came in on the alloted time or just dropped off the face of the earth. It's not the pay that they don't like, I think it's the work they don't like. I have had some whopper's sit across from me. here are a few examples.
Question. "Give me an example of how you handled a recent conflict at work".
Answer. "I have conflicts all the time, usually with the bosses, I don't ever get along with the boss, boss's think that they know everything and they usually don't know anything, so I either get fired or I quit."
My reply. "Really? that is good to know"
Example #2. Q. Why did you leave your last job? (3 months ago)
Answer: "It didn't pay enough ($7/hr) my husband and I couldn't afford day care and gas back and forth to work so I quit to find another job and haven't found one that pays $8.50 per hour yet." (side note, at the time my open position was advertised at $7.25/ hr)
Reply: If I offered you this job would you take it. No, it doesn't pay $8.50 an hour right? Imagine me trying to be as nice as possible while wondering why in the $#%!@ are you here if you have no intention of taking the job. PEOPLE! COME ON! ARE YOU THAT DUMB. I politely told her that I had no more questions and walked her to the door. So I sit back in my chair and wonder how can some of these people make it through the day when they have no brains in there head. I am sorry, but come on! Why would you quit one job because you don't make enough money until you find another job. You can't make ends meet and so you quit to help the situation
Next example:
After getting through 15 questions, I stop to ask if she has any questions. She does, "Do you have health benefits"? "No", I reply. "Oh, then I don't guess I can take the job"
And another. This lady lives out of town and called to reschedule her interview because she didn't want to make a special trip and waste gas. Wow! that makes me want to hire you right now!.
I am really a nice guy, why all the trouble? I have decided to let God send me someone because Obviously I can't find anyone on my own. Please pray for me. I am really discouraged about this situation.
I have since advertised at starting wage of $8.25. It hasn't helped. Should I go Higher? I like people to prove themselves to ME before I start giving raises. It would have to be the queen of England almost before I could actually pay more than that to help run my business. 9 interviews 12 applications. 4 weeks. Zero hires.
The joys of business ownership!

weird thoughts
What if businesses paid employees in advance in stead of in arears. What if I put an ad in the paper asking for someone to pay off my debt of over $400k. What if my imagination is so small that I have no idea how God will relief all of this debt. What if I get the "better Job" that pays off my debt. What if I believe God for the big debts instead of the Just the little ones? Why does it seem like all I can think about is what God hasn't done instead of what He has done. Maybe because what he has done is old news and what He Hasn't done stares me in the face every day? Why do I think of so many ways to "help God be God"? Why do I cough so much? Why do I live in Pain? Because I choose to I guess. That's dumb!

interesting few days
So the last few days have been interesting to say the least. Rachel is back and not all is back to normal yet. Kid's are out of control... baseball for Payton Started and As some of you may know... my brother sold his business a few weeks ago and told me that he wanted to invest the cash, and asked if I wanted to start a business he would partner up with me. So the last couple of days have been full of conversation about what business to start and where. We have decided that the best place to start a business is in Denver, where he lives. Which means that I will be spending a lot of time in Colorado. Not sure what this means for my family, eventually we will sell the biz, the house and move, i would guess. But at least not for a few months anyway. Now,
I know that this is a very sad story, and that is why april fools day is here. Gotcha! The only thing true in this story is that my brother sold his business.
