Times

What an amazing time to be alive. I am really fascinated with the events taking place in the wolrd. Some of the stuuf would not be believable if it wouldn't have been prophicied in the bible. Israel is very interesting to watch. The economy and how the media spins the news. Did you know that media is actually prophicied in the bible. " communication will increase" wow! It's crazy that I can lay in my bed and chat with someone on the over side of the world through a 5 inch device, virtually instantly that is an increase in communication for sure. Wow!

a time of receiving

So I am in a time period where I am learning to receive love from those around me. I have always been a giver and always helping others, but I have never been able to rely on or trust that people will be there to help me when I am in need. I have never really had a crisis or a time where I just needed physical help. Well, I can see clearly now that help is here. I have had one stint when Rachel went to Redding last year but that was just 4 days. She has helped a lot just lining up lunches and making lists.

I struggle with Jaxon because I don't understand his language, how he tries to communicate with different whines and pitch levels that sound like a wild bird from the jungle. The other two boys I can control pretty well, and they are pretty much able to take care of themselves from bathing to fixing their own cereal and getting dressed etc.

I know that a lot of women have volunteered to make supper for us and I am ready to receive all you have. There are also several of you that are watching my kids while I am at work. Thank you for the love and sacrifice.

well Hellooo

In West Texas If I didn't listen to radio, TV, or have web access, or read print media then I wouldn't know that there is a recession in the world. I would carry on like I normally would, sleeping good at night and eating normally.

The ones who are not looking for a handout and who are willing to do anything it takes to provide, work any job, and perhaps even sacrifice a few luxuries will be just fine. Your needs will be met.

We in America don't understand what poverty is. If you are homeless in America then you are in the small percentile of poor in these United States. Most "poor" people have a car, a house, and a TV. Not to mention a cell phone. I understand that in some parts of the US the recession is worse than other places, but it's a long long ways from the days of the Great Depression. The media wishes to spin everything to look as horrible as imaganable. Unemployement at 8%, is still really low considering that we have more workers than we did 60 years ago, and more households with 2 incomes.

My point is to not fear, no matter what the media says. I haven't lost any sleep and in fact have turned off Talk radio, TV news and only get my news from a few select media outlets on the web. I refuse to listen to something that is going to challenge my faith unnecessarily. I know Obama is doing things that I don't agree with and that are unarguably damaging our country. Not much I can do in the natural. I can sign a petition and call my senators, but praying in the spirit is the only thing that is really going to do anything in the heaveans. This is a spiritual battle for the heart of our country. Nothing has really changed, it's the same warefare that we have been battling for over 200 years as a nation. It seems worse only becuase everywhere we turn there is a media outlet bombarding us with bad news. Don't buy into the bad news. It's not a news flash that the world is bad out there. It was bad in the days of Noah, and will continue to be bad until Jesus established his Kingdom here. We can bring the Kingdom to earth and we are, but just remember world bad.... Kingdom good. You are kingdom then you are fine. PERIOD.
