I came to a point in my life recently where I was angry and bitter and hated anyone who disagreed with me. I was being influenced by the world and didn't even know it. I was heading toward a wreck in my life if I didn't figure out what was wrong. God told me to renew my mind. I recently went through a cleansing that caused me to fast news media for one month. During that time I didn't know one thing that was going on in the world. I just focused on renewing my mind and purging it from anger about issues I personally have no control over in the natural. This is a synopsis of what I have learned in the last month. During the past month God gave me great insight into the lives of hurting people. It was a very unique experience that was almost supernatural. All I know is that God wanted me to see certain situations that people live in everyday that I never recognize. anyway...
I was never a good writer so pardon all the jumping around. :)
God sees everyone through the eyes of the cross. He died for the one who stands for abortion just as much as he died for the one that stole money from wall street. God loves the person more than he hates their sin. If we didn't need a savior to save us from our mess then Jesus would have never had to go to the cross. He didn't die for the saved but the unsaved. It's not my place to judge a mans heart or try to understand why he does this or that. People are good, and do wrong. I know for a fact that there are people who are strategically planted in dc and are ministering the love of Christ to leadership and are finding out heart breaking stories of why leaders are doing the things they are doing. This battle for the heart of our nation is not going to be won by holding up signs and having town hall meetings, those things are good, but change will come when we love unconditionally and love our neighbor as our self. When Christians start giving real answers to abortion it won't change. When we start adopting babies and providing homes for them then we will see real change.
Does Jesus still love President Obama, and bin laden and the drunk on the street corner? Yes, his love never changes. He died for them just like he died for me. He accepted Saul after he persecuted Christians and he saw the good in him and even changed his name to Paul.
The church has been trying to change abortion and every other issue for years. The reason there is abortion is because somewhere the heart of the mother was turned away from her offspring. Children became devalued when the industrial age began and children weren't needed to harvest crops and help the family, society now doesn't see the value of children they are no longer a blessing but a burden and a dollar sign. Somewhere the church stopped loving unconditionally and started swinging it's sword.
This is a battle we have to wage in the spirit. I am not laying down, but I am changing the things I say about politicians and other people I disagree with. When I choose to not associate with someone simply because we disagree I contribute to the "Divided Nation" What i say does shape history, the tongue is the most powerful force in the universe. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
Politicians are people, they are moms and dads, they are sons and daughters, we are to love even unto death.
We are seeing people restored who have been mad at God or hurt by the church because they did something bad and the church judged instead of loved or they are walking in shame and guilt People need someone to care about them and not be concerned about the sin but them as a person.
Finding what you are called to is essential. I am not called to fight the political battle at this season, but to get in my prayer closet and prophecy goodness over my enemies and pray for them, and pray for those who are called to fight it and pray that they walk in love. I am to build up the world. Romans2:4. " the goodness of God leads to repentance".
Just what if our president were to repent, what kind of mass revival would we see, that is what I am believing for, I don't want this man to perish or any anyone I don't agree with to perrish. He can reach people no one else ever could.
The church has come at issues through the lenses of judgment and justice rather than love and the cross and I believe that could be why we are loosing battles on every political front. Christianity has become repulsive to the world because of the critical spirit we carry. I want to bring the good news to people by "doing greater things than Jesus did" and loving people when they don't deserve it, when they use me and say bad things about me. so what. I have no right as a christian to pickup my sword because of offense in me.

Working from rest
Huh? I don't get it, it's the hardest thing for a business owner to do. I still work every day it's just not from my own strength. It's waiting on his favor to go before me. It's waiting on deals to develop instead of Trying to make them happen with my own ability. It's hearing God and being obedient to market the way he says to market. Its NOT doing what the world says to do and play the numbers game. For every x dollars spent you get x amount of business. It's not panicing when it's slow times. It's knowing I work for Him. It's His company I am stewarding. When I am stressed then I am not working from rest. If I am worried then I am not resting. Rest in knowing who God says you are in his word and in prophetic words given you!
